PRAYING FOR NICOLE...
Nicole Johnson, a member of our TRCC family, is currently in Thailand on a missions trip with a small group of people. Below is an update from her that we'd like to share with you, and ask that you keep her and her team in your prayers as the Lord uses them to do His work in Thailand!

Hello! I wanted to send a little update.  My team (Wesley, Lauren, and I) are doing well and truly enjoying our time here.  The Lord is blessing us with numerous people who are excited about learning English.  This is a huge blessing because that means more people are being exposed to the word of God!!  At this point we each have about 7-8 people coming consistently which equates to around 15 hours of work per person.

The local church here is truly a wonderful community. They have an open and uniquely welcoming atmosphere.  The Payap Christian Zone is open to the community each day from 9:30am-11:00pm and they have a midweek study each Thursday.  Students from the Payap University are welcome to come and hang out at the Zone.  In addition they have around 8 interns from the United States, Malaysia and Singapore who are committed to work different portions of the year here and that makes for an enthusiastic environment devoted to outreach and Godly focus.

Please keep praying for our team and forward this message to anyone who is interested in supporting us through prayers.  We really need the Grace of God to continue His work faithfully.

WE'RE SENDING...
the Naulty family to Olympia, Washington to start a church! If you were in weekend services on May 8 & 9 you were a part of those praying for God's blessing on Dan and Cassie Naulty and their two boys, Hunter and Taylor. You may remember that Dan and Cassie were one of the founding families of The Rock; and Dan served on our Pastoral staff launching our Small Group ministry. The Naulty's moved to Denver for Dan to attend seminary and then lived in the UK for almost two years while Dan was attending Oxford university. Dan is completing his dissertation and will receive his Masters of Theology shortly. We are following the Lord's leading by providing their insurance while they become established in Olympia.

It will be exciting to receive their updates and hear how the Lord is working through them, and you to further the Gospel! You can check back here for updates and to view their prayer requests and needs. LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS We want children and adults of all ages, in the name of Jesus, to be involved in making a difference in the world, one person at a time. 

On February 20th, we sent about 40 people to The Sheepfold Thrift Store. They cleaned and organized donated goods at the store along with delivering several hundred pairs of shoes from The Rock.

THE SHEEPFOLD is the home mission project we are committed to year round. The Sheepfold is an organization that reaches out to battered women and children.  The goal is to get them on their feet financially, and introduce them to the love and care of Jesus Christ.  There are many ways to get involved.  Go through your closets at home and donate clothes, shoes, blankets, games, etc to their thrift shop.

We want to be the kind of people about whom these women can say, “…they helped me on the road to recovery…they introduced me to Jesus Christ.” We have no idea how much God can use our willing hearts!

 

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD This year our goal is to send out over 1200 boxes! Last year alone we sent out 616 boxes and we have no doubt that we can beat our goal this year – BUT we can’t do it without your help!

AMOR MINISTRIES  We are prayerfully seeking a time and date to partner in ministry with this tested Christian organization in building houses as a way of sharing God's love for those in need in Mexico. Click Here to learn more about Amor Ministries.

 

HELPING HANDS Acts 2 tells us that the church “gave to anyone as he had need” (verse 45).  Be a part of this exciting opportunity to help supply basic needs for our church family by purchasing gas and grocery cards.  These will go to families who have been pre-screened and interviewed to determine their needs.
