PRAYER AND COMPASSION
PRAYER
The Rock Prayer Team is committed to being in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the members of His church. In supplication — humble petition — we come to our Father, with the utmost desire for His will to be done above all.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
COMPASSION
And the King will answer and say to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Matthew 25:40
Guided by God’s words as recorded in Matthew 25:40 (see above), Compassion Ministries supports our church family and community in times of trial to the glory of the Kingdom.
Through the active participation of our church family we have been able to reach out to our community by demonstrating Christ’s love to the homeless, widows, abused children, and broken families.
